It is now the second week of half term before everything is due, and here is my updated time plan to show my progress against my plan that I had:

Website Final draft (with trailer)

As you can see, from my first drafts I chose font "1."
I chose this font because I feel that it is nice and simple, and the sizing of it fits well within the given space left on the poster.
What has been changed from the first draft?
Well from the first draft using this font, there has been a massive change which may not be very easily noticeable, but the change is the billing box, it is completely different.
It has changed for two reasons:
1. From gaining feedback, I found that the ordering of it was incorrect, so I had to look into existing billing boxes, and correct it to make it more professional.
2. The actors have slightly changed, so I have had to change this to take this into account.

As you can see all of the fonts that I tried out all have a handwritten feel to them, and I had done this to try and fit in with the fact that there is a marker pen in the image.
I feel that all of these posters have the desired effect that I wanted to create, but I feel that numbers "1." and "2." are the ones which stand out the most to me, so for my final draft I will choose one of these fonts.
Also, as you can see from the image, I decided to go with one of my second shot type images, and I chose this simply because I feel that it is the most effective shot, as it does not give off too much of my storyline away, but keeps the viewer interested, and wanting to go to see the movie to find out what it is about.

As you can see, I have only done two types of shots, and this is simply because when looked over my plan for a second time, I pictured in my head what they would look like and, I thought to gain the effect that I wanted, there could not be too much going on, so I only selected these two shots to do, and I am very pleased with the outcome that I have been able to achieve.

I only made a small plan for this, because from looking at other movie poster related to my genre, I found that they were very simple, yet highly effective, and I feel that these image will do exactly this.

This simply explains each shot that I intended to do, who was going to be involve in them, whether they were good or not, and if I re-shot them.
The majority of these shots that were not done were not executed simply because from looking at how much there was and the time limit that I had to create my trailer, I thought that it would be best to execute the more important shots, as there would not be room in the trailer for all of the shots.

New and improved synopsis
A change brings with it a new beginning, Omar, your average 18 year old school boy that just happened to be situated in the wrong places at the wrong times. Building up his anger against those who dismissed his presence, he remained an outcast.
Set in modern day London 2012, where loneliness became too much, Omar decides to take his life and the life of others into his own hands. If he couldn't have a life, then why should the? Join Omar as he walks down the path of a new beginning which brings with it the sacrifice of others.

Initial Planning & Research 7 - Vox Pop
This is a Vox Pop that I executed with some people in my class, and edited using a program on and iMac called 'iMovie'.
This is basically a number of simple Q&A's with a number of people around the Marylebone and Baker Street area, to allow me to get an idea to what people look for in a horror movie.
This has helped me to think about if there are any additional things that I could add to my movie to make it cater to the majority of peoples likings, and ultimately, make it as scary as possible.

This is a small collection of words and images that were put into an animated video using a website called 'Animoto'.
This is basically a collection of things which have inspired my movie idea, and have allowed me to construct the storyline that I have set out.
Initial Planning & Research 1 - Synopsis
Pushed aside and neglected by others all his life, Omar feels that it is time for a change. 18 years of age, and no friends to show for it, Omar decides to take out his built up anger on those who have isolated him his whole life.
Set in modern day London 2012, the mentality of Omar has been vastly corrupted by society, and he has finally switched, and he feels that if he can’t have a life, then neither can others. Although he has no life socially, he decides to make it a literal thing for his enemies.

This is a completely new blog for my Media Studies A2 course that I have created, so that it will only include information and publications from my final idea.
This new blog was created simply because the old blog contained a number off different ideas that made me change things a lot of times, but this blog will only show all that lead up to my final publication.
